Synopsis

Some people have the opinion that flashy AI and analytics tools are the essential ingredient to enable Project Data Analytics as a discipline to deliver value to our wider stakeholders.

Using examples from major investment programmes he has been involved in, Julian Schwarzenbach will try and redress the balance of priorities for Project Data Analytics to increase understanding of the importance of data in the overall approach including:

  • Is Garbage In, Garbage Out still relevant?
  • What do we mean by data quality?
  • How do our staff impact data quality?
  • How ISO 8000-61 can provide a framework for managing your data
  • The importance of data standards.
