Synopsis

Do you have skills you would like to share with the next generation of coders?

Code Club and CoderDojo are part of the Raspberry Pi Foundation, a UK-based charity with the mission to enable young people to realise their full potential through the power of computing and digital technologies.

Both Code Club and CoderDojo aim to provide young people with the opportunity to be creative with technology through a network of free, volunteer-led clubs.

In this talk, we will share more information about these programmes and how you can get involved. Join us to hear more about:

  • What is Code Club and CoderDojo?
  • Our values, goals and impact
  • Our digital-making projects and resources
  • What we ask of volunteers
  • How to get involved: signing up, setting up and safeguarding
  • Bonus: tips and insights on running a club

The talk will be hosted by Sarah Eve Roberts, Code Club Community Coordinator for Wales and Steph Burton, CoderDojo Community Manager UK, with support from STEM Ambassador Coordinator, Hayley Pincott.

Our events are for adults aged 16 years and over.
