Synopsis

Nick will be discussing risks and impacts of choosing domain names, lessons learnt from wrong domain names. He has overseen complaints, disputes and legal issues affecting domain names.

About the speaker

Nick Wenban-Smith

Nick originally completed an undergraduate degree in Chemistry before qualifying as a solicitor in 1997. He has worked at international and regional law firms, before focusing on advising companies as their in house counsel.

Since 2007 Nick has worked for Nominet, the country code Top Level Domain for the United Kingdom, where he has overseen complaints, disputes and legal issues affecting domain names.
