Synopsis

There are many individuals in our communities that are not able to interact fully in an online world and we need your support. We believe that Bath is the best placed city in England to address its digital divide.

Find out more about the work of the newly formed Digital Divide Collective in Bath, which all started at the Bath Digital Festival last year! Now we are a group of organisations coming together to address inequalities in digital access across the city.

Natalie Luckham from Wiltshire Digital Drive will also be sharing about their organisation and the amazing work they have done - lots of lessons along the way and what the next steps are as the notion of re-use in the tech world continues to grow, and how to address digital poverty but while ensuring safety.

The Bath Digital Festival 2024 also marks the start of a city-wide campaign for company’s to donate unwanted used laptops & help address digital poverty in Bath and North East Somerset.

Champion tech for good by donating unwanted laptops and help us bridge the digital divide in Bath & North East Somerset, a collaboration between Tech4Good South West, Bath Bridge, Wiltshire Digital Drive and BCS Digital Divide specialist group.
