Synopsis
Join us on Wednesday evening on the 9th July, for an evening to remember the many artistic contributions of Alan Sutcliffe, co-founder of the Computer Arts Society.
Known for his insight and incisive wit, Alan pioneered computer music, computer poetry and generative visual art from the mid-1960s until the early 2010s. His career included senior roles at ICL, EMS and System Simulation Ltd and his work featured in “Cybernetic Serendipity”, “New Tendencies” and many other groundbreaking exhibitions – and the first Alien film.
The evening will be hosted by Nick Lambert and features Nicki Sutcliffe, Dr Bronaċ Ferran, and James Gardner recounting their memories of Alan’s life and work.
