Julie is the Director of Corporate Engagement at BCS, where she leads the corporate client team within the Institute. She is passionate about ensuring that industry professionals receive the recognition they deserve and is a strong advocate for promoting professionalism through self-development and skills recognition.
Speaker Biographies
Jonny Sammut
Jonny Sammut is the Director of Digital Services at the Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS Trust, bringing over 20 years of cross-sector digital leadership experience. Prior to this, he served as Chief of Digital & Innovation at North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust and held senior roles in data and digital strategy at Health Management Ltd (as Business Intelligence Director), Capita plc, and Aviva plc.
A Fellow of the British Computer Society (FBCS) and Leading Practitioner with FEDIP (LFEDIP), Jonny is also a graduate of Cohort 4 of the NHS Digital Academy, holding a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Health Leadership from Imperial College London.
Jonny is a passionate advocate for inclusive leadership and innovation, known for challenging the status quo to drive transformative change that improves services, empowers teams, and delivers better outcomes for patients and the public.
Luke Webber
Luke is a Central Government Cyber, Digital and Data Risk Partner with 20+ years’ experience of working with UK Public Sector and Defence Clients, with 10 years of Cyber, Information and Data Security experience.
He has an interest in helping Clients understand their risk profile, and how to qualify and quantify the investment needed to balance compliance and risk mitigation with value-generation and competitive advantage. Luke is also passionate about the constant shift between the pull and push of organisational and cultural change driving technical innovation versus technology driving the change.
Louise Voisey
Leading on data protection in national policing programmes such as Live Facial Recognition and Biometrics, the Police National Database and providing advice and guidance to all police forces in England, Wales and Scotland, South Wales Police and Heddlu Gwent Police Data Protection Officer and Information Governance Lead, Louise Voisey, is an expert in Data Protection matters in the Public Sector and Law Enforcement.
Louise has worked her way up from a temporary post in the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency to being the key tactical data protection adviser to both Chief Constables in 2 forces. She is a qualified data protection professional on domestic and international data protection matters and is a Fellow of the International Association of Privacy Professionals. She aims to bring data protection and information governance to life, making it relevant and simple in everyday tasks that we don’t even think about helping employees protect themselves, their organisation and the public.
