Synopsis

The presentation will focus on the latest cybersecurity risks and threats, and how the industry is preparing to address the most critical issues seen. Given the prevalence of AI in the threat landscape, the discussion will also include of the role of AI within this context.

About the speaker

Kieron Newsham has been working in the cyber security industry for over a decade, with a career spanning multiple corporate sectors, the Ministry of Defence, Managed Service Providers, Manged Security Service Providers, and product companies.

He owns, delivers, and develops the Softcat Cyber Security strategy and overall Go-To-Market for Softcat’s customers, vendors, internal sales and services teams. This incorporates enterprise business strategy and thought leadership, sales training and career progression, vendor partnership representation at C-Level, and managed service and architecture development.

In addition, he has scoped and designed cyber security solutions for customers across Softcat's diverse customer base, to enable large scale business transformation and rapid increase of security posture.
