Synopsis
PFAS - Find out more about them, why they're a problem and what we're doing about it.
PFAS (Per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances), nicknamed ‘forever chemicals’, are a highly persistent group of several thousand chemicals.
We know they're everywhere, we know they're causing harm. And to top it off, they last forever.
The Marine Conservation Society are working hard to better protect the environment, wildlife and humans from the harm of these forever chemicals.
Dr. Francesca Ginley has a background in chemistry and now works as a Policy and Advocacy Manager specialising in PFAS.
