- Introduction to UCL's postgraduate taught and research programmes, highlighting study opportunities, research strengths and student support.

- Each recruiter will provide a brief introduction to their organisation, graduate opportunities, the skills they seek in candidates, and current recruitment priorities.

- Six selected postgraduate students will each deliver a 10-minute presentation showcasing their research, innovation projects or dissertation work, demonstrating their technical expertise, communication skills and potential to prospective employers.

- An opportunity for students, recruiters, academics and BCS IT Leaders Forum members to network, discuss postgraduate study and career opportunities, and establish connections for future mentoring, internships, research collaboration and employment.
Synopsis
The event aims to strengthen collaboration between UCL and the BCS IT Leaders Forum while promoting UCL's postgraduate programmes to prospective students and early-career professionals.
It will bring together senior IT leaders, recruiters, academics, current students and alumni to showcase the opportunities available through postgraduate taught or research study and highlight the skills and knowledge required for future digital leadership.
The programme will include keynote presentations from industry leaders, a panel discussion on emerging technologies and career opportunities, student presentations showcasing their projects and research, and an overview of UCL's postgraduate programmes and admissions process.
A key objective of the event is to create meaningful connections between students and employers. By inviting recruiters and senior industry leaders to attend, the event will provide opportunities for them to engage with student presenters, with the aim of fostering ongoing relationships that may lead to mentoring, internships, career development and future employment opportunities.
A networking reception will enable attendees to continue these conversations in an informal setting, encouraging collaboration between students, employers, academics and the BCS IT Leaders Forum, while strengthening UCL's links with industry.
Our events are for adults aged 16 years and over.
