Synopsis

Guidance on post-quantum migration is now plentiful. First-hand accounts of running one at industrial scale are not. The fourth evening of the Summer of PQC series turns from principle to practice, with two speakers who have led quantum-readiness work inside global enterprises and across an entire industry sector.

Lory Thorpe, who leads the Quantum Safe agenda for industries at IBM and chairs the GSMA Post Quantum Telco Network Task Force, reflects on what quantum-safe transformation actually looks like once it leaves the strategy deck and meets an operating business.

Luke Ibbetson, who leads Vodafone Group Research and Development and is Vice Chair of the same GSMA task force, brings the operator's perspective - the standards, supply-chain and engineering realities behind the collaborative approach set out in the NCSC and Vodafone post-quantum cryptography migration workshop report.

A moderated panel and audience questions and answers follow.
