Synopsis

Over the past few months, a new approach to web testing emerged: using Playwright with GitHub Copilot to speed up authoring, explore scenarios, and refine assertions.

This presentation highlights how AI is reshaping the testing craft - making automation more iterative, exploratory, and collaboration-friendly.

It also walks through a practical setup in VS Code with the Copilot extension and MCP (Model Context Protocol) to connect AI assistance to a real project context.
