Synopsis
This talk covers AI and model development from 2020 to the day of the event. It offers a tour d'horizon of how we got here, what is happening right now, and what may come next. With major advances arriving at pace, we may well be living through something akin to an Industrial Revolution.
About the speaker
Sylvain Viguier is Director of AI at Graphcore, leading 20 ML Engineers, focused on people empowerment, open culture, and product mindset. His earlier experience included the development and launch of handheld and wearable devices, particularly with medical applications. He is also an artist with a number of installations to his name.
