Join BCS Merseyside Branch for our 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM), an opportunity for members, professionals, students and volunteers to reflect on our achievements, contribute to the future direction of the branch and help shape a vibrant and inclusive technology community across Merseyside.

Over the past year, the branch has worked to strengthen connections between academia, industry and the wider technology community, with initiatives focused on student engagement, professional development, collaboration and practical learning opportunities.

During the AGM, we will:

  • Review the branch's activities, achievements and progress during 2025/26, including developments in the Merseyside Federated Student Chapter, community engagement, hackathons and partnerships.
  • Receive the Chair's Annual Report, including updates on inclusion and early careers initiatives.
  • Review the branch's financial position and priorities for the year ahead.
  • Hold committee elections and confirm appointments in accordance with BCS governance procedures.
  • Discuss our vision and proposed programme for 2026/27, including technical talks, networking events, hackathons, career development activities and collaboration with universities and industry.
  • Provide opportunities for members to ask questions, share ideas and get involved.
