Learn what popular discovery frameworks there are, when to use them, and explore the human skills needed to master product discovery

Synopsis

Research suggests that up to 80% of features in software products are rarely or never used. AI has accelerated shipping faster than ever, yet most of what gets built fails to deliver real value.

This represent what Paddy calls ‘The Failure Economy’, and we’re fuelling it through a teams being rewarded for shipping more, even when it's the wrong things.

In this session, Paddy draws on 25 years across Business Analysis, Product Management, and leading product teams in complex environments to explore what discovery really is and why it's not just a product management discipline.

Discovery is a universal skill that applies whether you're shaping requirements or making any decision where uncertainty is high, and the cost of getting it wrong is high.
