Alan Warr is a digital strategy and transformation consultant with over 20 years experience. This has included working for major global consultancies(incl. big 4), specialist boutique consultancies and as an internal consultant within a blue chip, global company. He is committed to ensuring the BCS continues to contribute to the professionalism and growth of the digital and IT consultancy industry through CPD events and the building of a connected global community of practicing consultants and consultancies.
Colin Pearson CEng CITP, MBCS
Colin Pearson has been a member of BCS North Staffordshire Branch for over 50 years, after joining English Electric Leo Marconi Computers as a graduate programmer working on Deuce, KDF9 and other early machines. His career took him through many roles, marketing as well as project management. In 1980s, he started acting as an Expert Witness working on a variety of legal cases, both civil and criminal. He finished his career at Staffordshire University as an Enterprise Reader. He now volunteers and helps BCS groups by acting as Treasurer to Law, Consultancy and Internet SGs. Indeed, he helped to start the latter SG in 1996 (approx.). Apart from computing, his main interest is cricket umpiring and scoring, in connection with which he runs a small business.

Simon joined ICL in 1978 and now has over 40 years’ experience in IT. He has worked as a management consultant since 1986, including 22 years with KPMG, becoming Head of Management Consulting for Turner and Townsend, and becoming a Council Member and Director of the Management Consultancies Association.
