BCS is looking for digital specialists with hands-on experience in the following areas to undertake end-point assessment of their apprenticeships:

  • DevOps Engineer
  • Artificial intelligence (AI) data specialist
  • Cyber security technician
  • Cyber security technologist (2021) IFAv1.0
  • Data technician
  • Digital support technician
  • Information communications technician IFAv1.0
  • IT Solutions Technician
  • Network engineer IFAv1.2

Applicants must be able to demonstrate relevant occupational competence for this area of specialism and understand the scope of the apprenticeship standard. BCS will provide full training on the assessment process and comprehensive support throughout.

BCS currently offers all digital apprenticeship standards and are increasing our assessor pool to meet market demand within the above specialisms.

The role is both financially rewarding and fulfilling, supporting the next generation of sector specialist as they start their career journey. As an assessor, you'll be required to use your up to date subject matter expertise to review the content and quality of an apprentice’s work and use your professional judgement to grade them and give constructive feedback to support their development.

The role is remote and around your existing commitments providing flexibility within the role. Interviews are conducted Monday to Friday during the normal working day hours.

Level 4 Apprenticeship Specialist

  • Current up to date qualifications will be required and must be relevant to the discipline you are applying for
  • Your depth of skill and technological experience must be evidenced in your work history

Once we receive your CV this will be assessed internally and if successful at this initial stage you will be invited to a selection workshop where you will find out more about the role and the requirements of working as an assessor within BCS.

The next assessment sessions are due to take place on:

  • 12/13 January 2022
  • 9/10 February 2022
  • 9/10 March 2022

If you are successful following attendance at this two day assessment and selection event, we will carry out DBS checks and provided that there are no issues, invite you to the next stage of the process to on-board you as an assessor.
