This person will:

  • Consult with employers and providers to identify resources that BCS can develop to support T Level providers and students, with a focus on industry insights and professional behaviours.

  • Develop resources, in line with what has been identified and prioritised, for both students and providers, including webinars, quizzes, masterclasses, competitions, updates etc.
  • Maintain the provider and student resource sites to ensure they are kept up to date and relevant, and newly developed resources are accessible.
  • Review and update the list of third-party resources to ensure these are still relevant and up to date.
  • Work closely with other members of the BCS Product and Standards team to ensure work is undertaken in line with the product build plan and product roadmap, providing regular updates on resource development.

This post is initially offered as a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2023.

About the role

Design, develop, produce, and manage a programme of support for T Level providers and students, with a focus on industry insights and professional behaviours. The content will support and enrich the T Level curriculum by providing contextualised content. Therefore, the content must add value to providers by providing relevant resources that can be used alongside their curriculum delivery, and to students enabling them to have an appreciation of how their learning can be applied in practice.

Key responsibilities:

Continuous engagement with stakeholders and employers, and review of the digital T Level curriculums, to identify where the Digital T Level Support Programme could add value, particularly in relation to industry insight and professional behaviours and standards. For example, where industry insight would be beneficial to illustrate the context in a working environment.

  • Establish and develop collaborative relationships with:
    • T Level providers as early adopters, testers, and sources of regular feedback.
    • Employers to create contextualised resources e.g. case studies, webinars and masterclasses.
    • Other teams within BCS to ensure resources can be accessed digitally, they align with the broader BCS product portfolios, to SFIA, and that they are developed in line with the established product development process and the BCS brand.
  • Review of existing or new, BCS and third party content and integrate it into the Digital T Level Support Programme where relevant.
  • In line with available budget, plan a programme of contextualised resources that is relevant to the delivery of the T-Level curriculum.
  • Design, develop and deliver resources in an engaging, informative, and where relevant, interactive, format that is accessible to T Level providers and students.
