Job title: Marketing Manager B2B
Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum
Location: Swindon - 2 days in office (Wednesday and Thursday)
Contract Type:  Fixed-term contract - 12 months

We are looking for a Marketing Manager B2B responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns that drive lead generation, sales enablement and optimize customer lifetime value across our B2B and channel audiences. Collaborating closely with sales colleagues to consistently improve and evolve the pre-sales and sales journey of employers and training providers to ensure BCS is clearly identifiable as the IT professional development partner of choice.  

Role responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive traffic and optimize high quality lead generation in our chosen markets across various channels.
  • Manage the execution of marketing campaigns, from concept to delivery across the full marketing mix. Analyse performance metrics to optimize acquisition funnel conversion.
  • Manage digital marketing channels including email marketing, programmatic and retargeting display, SEO/SEM, PPC  and other digital platforms.
  • Conduct market and customer research to understand trends, competitors and customer behaviour. Develop and evolve personas, customer journeys, insights and recommendations based on data-driven analysis.
  • Develop content that resonates with the target audience. Oversee the production of marketing and sales support materials including: brochures, leaflets, pitch decks, video case studies, Product information cards, event materials , social media posts, emails and advertisements.
  • Develop and optimize pre & post sale persona based nurture campaigns to increase audience engagement and maximize customer life time value. 
  • Working in partnership with sales colleagues develop ABM strategies to acquire and grow strategic clients.
  • Manage marketing budgets, ensuring effective allocation of budget to optimize reach, conversion to sale and ROI with our target audiences to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product and other internal and external partners to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
  • Maintain and enhance brand image and messaging, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and platforms.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and tactics. Use metrics to guide decision-making and optimize future efforts.
  • Ensure all marketing out puts are in compliance with: UK GDPR, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 (DMCCA) and CAP Code. 

Who are we looking for?

Education and qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, or a post graduate qualification or a related field.
  • CIM qualifications
Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in marketing management or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, SEO, email marketing, etc.).
  • Proven track record of managing successful marketing campaigns.
  • Proven experience in media purchasing
  • Experience with marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Knowledge of branding and creative processes.
  • Previous experience in membership, charity or not for profit sector.
  • Previous experience in IT industry (preferrable).
  • Familiar with CRM tools, in particular Salesforce.

Special conditions
  • Some offsite visits to clients, partners and suppliers may be required
  • Travel to other BCS offices may be required
