Results of the election of Honorary Officers and members of Council.
i) Election of Honorary Officers
From the close of the 2026 AGM until the close of the 2027 AGM:

ii) Election of members of Council
Professional Membership
The Institute received seventeen valid nominations for election to Council by the Professional Membership for four ordinary vacancies each for a three-year term of office and one casual vacancy for a two-year term of office. The following candidates were elected for the four ordinary vacancies:
- Dr Nicky Danino CITP MBCS
- EUR ING Julian Fletcher CITP CEng FBCS
- Miss Amy Louise Phillips-Mahon CITP CEng FBCS
- Dr Shufan Yang CEng FBCS
Regional Constituency
The Institute received five valid nominations for election to Council by the Regional Constituency for two ordinary vacancies for a three-year term of office. The following candidate were elected:
- Aravind Jalajan MBCS
- Monika Gontarska CITP MBCS
International Constituency
The Institute received four valid nominations for election to Council by the International Constituency for two ordinary vacancies for a three-year term of office. The following candidate were elected:
- Professor Lasith Gunawardena FBCS
- Herbert Kin Fan Leung CITP MBCS
Specialist Group Constituency
The Institute received four valid nominations for election to Council by the Specialist Groups Constituency for two ordinary vacancy for a three-year term of office. The following candidates were elected:
- Ed Evans FBCS
- Hannah Hagon MBCS
Young Professionals Constituency
The Institute received three valid nominations for election to Council by the Young Professional Constituency for one ordinary vacancy for a three-year term of office. The following candidates were elected:
- Nika Strok-Underwood
iii) Ordinary Resolutions
Ordinary Resolutions require a simple majority of those voting to vote in favour for them to pass.
Appointment of the Auditors
(Item 5 on the Calling Notice) - Members received as an Ordinary Resolution that HaysMac LLP Chartered Accountants of 10 Queen Street Place, London EC4R 1AG, be appointed auditors to the Institute to hold office from the conclusion of the 2026 AGM until the conclusion of the 2027 AGM.
On a poll, the Ordinary Resolution 1 – Appointment of the Auditors to the Institute was carried by:
For: 3019 (97.92%) Against: 64 (2.08%)
The Resolution was carried.
Approval of Membership subscriptions
(Item 6 on the Calling Notice) - Members received as an Ordinary Resolution that with effect from 1 May 2026 and in accordance with Bye-law 15, the following sums shall be paid by way of annual subscription.
On a poll, the Ordinary Resolution 2 – Subscriptions payable from 1 May 2026 was carried by:
