Paul McAdam - Senior Anti-Piracy Lead, Microsoft

Paul McAdamPaul McAdam is a Senior Anti-Piracy lead at Microsoft UK and manages the UK SAM Engagement Team. Paul re-joined Microsoft in 2013 after 4 years building a successful business as an independent consultant and trainer in Software Asset Management and Licensing. During that time, he was involved in ISO 19770, Microsoft Certified Professional accreditations and developing and delivering much of the SAM and software licensing content on behalf of a number of vendors.

Previously, Paul worked in a number of roles at Microsoft including group manager for channel development in addition to spells in Microsoft Dynamics and strategy consulting. Prior to Microsoft, Paul was the client infrastructure manager at AstraZeneca US, successfully rolling out one of the world’s first Windows 2000 projects. His career began as an ICI graduate building experience as a developer and project manager and was one of the first Microsoft Certified Solution Developers in the UK. Outside of work Paul lives in Cheshire and is a keen tennis player and fan.

Glen Rogers - Licensing and Asset Management Consultant, Trustmarque

Glen RogersGlen is a Licensing Consultant in the Asset Management and Procurement Services practice and has been with Trustmarque since November 2011.

He has seven years’ experience crafting, optimising and negotiating licensing contracts with his experience lying chiefly in ensuring that assets are used effectively and that licensing strategy is aligned to business objectives. He has also assisted with mergers, divestitures and joint ventures for major systems integrators including, HS2, Thales and Serco.

Eric ChiuEric currently leads Fisher IT Asset Consulting (FIAC), a team of licensing contract specialists at the top 30 audit firm HW Fisher & Company.

Previously he had over 5 years of experience as the lead auditor for IBM in UK & Ireland.

During this role he has designed various audit methodologies and delivered over 200 enterprise audits on behalf of IBM.

Eric also leads licensing audit and audit defence engagements with many other top software publishers, and has assisted many enterprise clients and implemented effective Software Asset Management function.
