This event is relevant for all interested in gender diversity and equal opportunities in IT

An event focused on women in IT - but men/everyone welcome too!

March 8th was International Women’s Day!
A century after some women got the right to vote in the UK, 2018 is a key year for gender diversity and equal opportunities in business and public worlds.

Our business and IT worlds seem to be increasingly full of hard work, disruption and changes. Many women also face further challenges striving for equality.

There are also increasing sources of opportunity and inspiration.

Did you attend (or view the video of) the great ‘Wominspiration’ event in Nov 2017, which included Partners from leading international firms Ernst & Young and Baker McKenzie?

This event features real-life experiences from inspiring women in IT-related careers.
In ‘From Then to Now’ presentations, they will tell us about their work roles, how they got there, challenges, inspiration and opportunities along the way, and their tips for others.

Come and join us to listen, learn and share views about this important topic.

Today’s IT-related presenters include a ‘Big 4’ Partner, lawyer in the Rail Sector, media infrastructure leader, financial services entrepreneur and cybersecurity professor:

  • Gill Williams, PwC Partner - UK Technology Audit & Assurance Solutions Leader

  • Lyn Penfold, General Counsel, Rail Delivery Group

  • Rebecca Salsbury, Head of Product (Platform), BBC Design & Engineering

  • Sharon Moore, Industry Technical Leader for Travel & Transportation, IBM

  • Susanne Chishti, CEO & Founder, FINTECHCircle

  • Professor Vladlena Benson, Director of Cybersecurity and Criminology Research Centre, University of West London
