Description

Augmented reality has very much been in the public eye recently, through the success of Pokemon Go. This session will describe the latest developments in "Hikar", an augmented reality app for walkers which helps users navigate while out in the countryside. We will begin with a live demo in the park opposite the university (with real devices available to demo the app), followed by a quick refreshment break before a presentation on the state of play of Android augmented reality in general, and the latest developments and future enhancements of the "Hikar" app.
