To maximise potential for lifetime employability, it is essential that you maintain high levels of professional competence by continually upgrading your skills and knowledge; so why not take control of your own Professional Development.

Arnold Sampson, a former BCS Professional Development Consultant and Inspector, will demonstrate the BCS web-based CareerBuilder product, which contains SFIAplus (Skills Framework for the Information Age). CareerBuilder allows BCS members to benchmark (map) themselves against SFIAplus and to create a Job Description that reflects this mapping. One can then set up Development Cycles containing training and development objectives and actions to achieve full competence against the Job Description. The product also enables longer term career development planning, as will be demonstrated on the night.

This is a must see demonstration for all YPG professionals.

The talk will be followed by a social event in which all are welcome.
