Who is it for

  • The role sits between technical and business roles to act as a ‘solution-orchestrator’.  It brings together process improvement, low/no code automation, AI governance and stakeholder facilitation.
  • These apprentices will often, but not exclusively, be embedded in operational teams working on digital support or change delivery.
  • This role is relevant across many sectors and businesses which rely on digital tools and systems to operate effectively, including financial services, professional services, public sector, healthcare, retail and manufacturing, marketing and creative industries.

How is this assessed

This apprenticeship has two forms of assessment.

Project assessment

The project assessment will typically take place around 2/3 of the way through the programme.

Showcase assessment

The showcase assessment is designed to provide apprentices a structured, holistic opportunity to demonstrate their expertise and value of their work.  

BCS will provide two options allowing apprentices the opportunity to choose the one that best suits them: 

  1. professional discussion with presentation 
  2. professional discussion with portfolio 

The showcase assessment will typically take place towards the end of the programme.
