  • Tayside & Fife Branch - Project Team Perspectives: CEO and Head of Project Change

Patricia Dreghorn will examine the role of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in implementing projects with an IT element. She will describe project complexities with which she must grapple, concerns and risks from her perspective, how this information is presented to her (formally and informally) and how this impacts her decisions.

Examples

  • the complexity of making a decision about what solution to select
  • the overseeing of the project as it goes through its life cycle
  • the preparation and management of expectations
  • the short, medium and long term implications
  • the uncertainties, market forces, legislation, other variables that can unexpected affect a project.
