The purpose of this talk is to provide an overview of the importance of the Project Board within the PRINCE2 method. This talk highlights the activities, duties and required behaviours of project board members as described in the new edition of Directing Successful Projects with PRINCE2 (AXELOS, 2018).
Speaker: Allan Thomson is an accredited PRINCE 2 Practitioner, accredited Lean Design Practitioner and Business Analyst with over 25 years’ project, programme management and Project Management Office (PMO) experience. He is particularly experienced at implementing PRINCE2 into organisations, He works for AXELOS as a Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Product Ambassador. As well working in project management, he has a wide range multi sector experience, such as in the education, legal, hospitality, energy and chemical production sectors.
