We have 2 guest speakers confirmed for the night. Professor Garfield Southall will update the Branch of national BCS developments. Garfield has been a long standing Branch member for over 20 years and was previously been Branch Chair. He is now helping to shape the future of BCS at a national level as a member of the BCS Community Board and Chair of the BCS Programme, Practice and Policy Committee. He is also Executive Dean of Faculty of Science and Engineering at University of Chester.

Our second guest speaker is James Earl of OR3D, who specialise in providing 3D CAD (computer aided design) models from laser scan data. Using a variety of portable 3D laser scanning equipment and specialist reverse engineering software they create 3D CAD models of pretty much anything!
