Debra Paul, Managing Director of Assist Knowledge Development, a training and consultancy company specialising in business analysis and business architecture. Debra co-authored the publications, Business Analysis, Agile and Business Analysis, Business Analysis Techniques and Delivering Business Analysis. Debra conducted doctoral research into the role of the business analyst and developed the Business Analysis Service Framework.

James Cadle, Director, AssistKD, has been involved in business analysis and related disciplines since 1975, first with London Transport, then Sema Group (now Atos) and latterly as a director of Assist Knowledge Development. He has been a business analyst, project manager, consultant, trainer and co-author of five books. He is a Chartered Fellow of BCS, a Member of the Association for Project Management and a Fellow of the RSA.

Linda Parker has been a successful business analyst for nearly 30 years, in manufacturing, finance and the more recently the public sector. For her, the role never grows old, her avid interest in other people and keenness to learn and improve means she loves being a BA. For the last 10 years, Linda has been an independent contractor and has extensive experience in Business Analysis, having worked for major large international companies. In 2019 she was Business Analyst of the Year. She is a keen supporter of IIBA being a committee member and regular presenter at the very successful Scottish branch.
