Synopsis

Black Lives Matter campaigning is driving renewed interest in diversity in organisations across the world. It has always been essential that middle managers understand how gender, race, age, disability and sexual orientation can tip the balance for or against employees and impact careers for decades. We need to win arguments with executive teams on funding our initiatives to enlighten our managers.

This session, led by Gillian Arnold, looks at what might be happening in the minds of our managers when they make choices about us, stresses the need for action, and offers some arguments that you can use to support your work.
