Synopsis

This event is a virtual tour of the winners of all the 2020 categories. The Lumen Prize celebrates the very best art created with technology through a global competition. Since its launch in 2012, it has given away more than US$80,000 in prize money and created opportunities worldwide for the artists involved. This is event will be run via New Art City - a multi-player, co-present platform and will, along with the cultural and historical context, give visitors the opportunity to engage, interact and dive deeper into the meaning of these exceptional digital arts experienced in a native digital world.

About the speaker

Madeleine recently graduated with distinction from the University of Michigan with a degree in History and Art History and holds a certificate from the Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London for Art and Business. She facilitates and manages Lumen’s partnerships with artists and art organisations across the globe and has developed Lumen Art Project’s IGTV channel.
