Synopsis

About the speakers

Christina Lovelock is an experienced BA leader and champions entry level BA roles, she is currently chair of the BA Apprenticeship standard review. She is active in the BA professional community, attending and regularly speaking at events. In 2019 she co-authored the BCS book, Delivering Business Analysis: The BA Service Handbook.

Debra Paul is the Managing Director of Assist Knowledge Development, a training and consultancy company specialising in business analysis and business architecture. Debra co-authored the publications, Business Analysis, Agile and Business Analysis, Business Analysis Techniques and Delivering Business Analysis. Debra conducted doctoral research into the role of the business analyst and developed the Business Analysis Service Framework.

Adrian Reed is a true advocate of the analysis profession. In his day job, he acts as Principal Consultant and Director at Blackmetric Business Solutions where he provides business analysis consultancy and training solutions to a range of clients in varying industries. He is a Past President of the UK chapter of the IIBA® and he speaks internationally on topics relating to business analysis and business change. Adrian wrote the 2016 book ‘Be a Great Problem Solver… Now’ and the 2018 book ‘Business Analyst’.

David Beckham founded ChuDo Consulting in 2019, creating a business focused on developing the BA role and assisting people through change at a corporate or individual level. After being diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 2010 at the age of 43 David gravitated toward training and development of others, developing a learning syllabus and creating a learning community within his UK team.

David continues to influence the Business Analyst profession as a thought-leader and passionate advocate of the role and the benefits it gives to organisations everywhere. Since 2015 David has been developing a series of seminars focussing on his recent experiences following his diagnosis and regularly speaks on the positive power of change both on a professional and personal basis.
