Synopsis

A foundational presentation about the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques in video game production and delivery. Some of the methods and their uses may already be familiar to you, whereas their application to player data is having a powerful ethical impact.

About the speaker

Dr Andrew Hague: teaching fellow in the Department of Computer Science, University of Warwick

Dr Andrew Hague worked in the Silicon Spa video game cluster for 20 years before returning to academia as a senior teaching fellow in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Warwick.

His areas of interest include human-centred interactive technologies, IoT and mobile applications, creative computing and computer science education.
