Synopsis

This webinar will be discussing some of the free resources available to parents and educators for teaching and learning digital skills.

Leaning on her experience in developing workshops, lessons and classroom resources, Tally, an Outreach Officer at Aberystwyth University, will take you through her rapidly expanding online toolkit for delivery. Since the first COVID-19 lockdown was announced, many alternative teaching platforms were developed to help tackle the need to home-school entire classes, and even more to support parents.

We will discuss which of these platforms we have tested/adopted for teaching purposes and why. This webinar will include demonstrations of classrooms software, simulators, and online environments, that we have incorporated into teaching robotics, programming, electronics, and web development.

The webinar is free and open to everyone.

This event is hosted in association with the team at Aberystwyth University running their Robotics Week activities
