Synopsis

Since we are becoming an intelligence lead economy, MC and Consulting skills are becoming essential to drive the change. If you want to add to your IT delivery, you can now be accredited by an ISO (20700) in Management Consulting (MC) or by Chartered Management Consultants award (ChMC) from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), so you can learn consulting skills and have a framework to follow when securing and managing the delivery of an IT project/service.

The ISO(20700) in MC accredited version was pioneered by the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI) and is a one-day course which ends with a certificate of accreditation. This is a great differentiator for all consultants.

We have invited Zarina Naqvi to talk us through this accreditation from personal experience. Zarina is a top consultant operating in the technology entrepreneurship area and is one of the five people in the UK who can run the course to be accredited in MC (ISO 20700). Zarina is also an assessor for the ChMC award and will provide further insight into how to get through the award.
