We are pleased to announce the next event of the season: A visit to the Jet Age Museum.
The jet engine was designed by British engineering genius Sir Frank Whittle (1907–1996). His son Ian is a patron of the Jet Age Museum.
Jet Age Museum opened its doors in August 2013, beginning a new chapter in the Gloucestershire Aviation Collection’s 30 plus year history.
To support networking between members in the branch, as well as to provide a good social event/interaction after these difficult times we all faced during COVID, members of the committee have suggested a visit to the beautiful Jet Age Museum in Gloucester. This will be a great opportunity to enjoy this great museum and for a networking lunch between members of the branch.
The event will happen on the 28th of May from 10 am to 12:30 pm, with a tour at the museum and a lunch at their on-site café inside space or benches outside depending on the weather.
Unfortunately, as the Jet Age Museum is not accepting group booking, for this time lunch will have to be at your own expense or you can bring your lunch.
Also, due to the limited size of the venue, the event will have a limited number of places and it will work on a first-come, first-served basis through Eventbrite.
It will be great to meet you and enjoy a lovely visit to the Jet Age Museum!
