Synopsis
The world is being transformed by rapid digitisation and our schools and teachers play a vital role in continuing to deliver that change. However, since the introduction of computing to the national curriculum in 2014, the subject knowledge enhancement course has only been available to those who already graduated in the field of study.
Join us for an online workshop, where we'll be delving into the Teachers Teaching Tech Programme, you'll get to hear from the online tutors first-hand and the opportunity to ask your most pressing questions. We'll also be delving into a demo of the course and attendees will receive a link to a taster demo to give you an idea on what you can expect on-programme.

About the speakers
Pete Marshman, Teaching Teacher Tech online tutor
Pete is best known for his research and work around building self-efficacy in girls in computer science and advises institutions across Europe where he is also an EU Code Week Ambassador.
He has produced, edited and authored resources for leading organisations in computing education such as the BCS, the BBC, Hodder Education, INEOS, the Royal Society, the European Space Agency and PG online. He has 15 years’ experience of teaching computer science and being an Assistant Headteacher.
