The event will come to life with talks, discussions, and debates across a wide range of digital skills topics.
The Digital Skills Network Reading event is the fourth event in our regional series. To date we have had excellent attendance in London, Manchester and Glasgow as these unique networking events bring together representatives from across the region including employers, education, local government, and policy makers with a commitment to improving the digital skills gap.
What can you expect?
We will create a forum that encourages a lively and productive dialogue between local employers and educators on their perspectives on how emerging tech and the digital skills shortage is impacting businesses and education channels alike.
Our aim is to progress efforts being made to address the digital skill gap.
Who is this event for:
- Employers (Senior decision makers, Business Leaders (large / SMEs), Apprenticeship Leads.)
- Individual's leading/ involved or interested in the region's digital skills strategy
- Learning & Development heads
- Training Providers
- Local policy makers
- Those involved with digital inclusion and diversity workplace initiatives
Through these discussions you will come away with new ideas, food for thought, and knowledge of options that can be used and applied immediately within their own organisations and can be shared with their wider networks. As part of the network, attendees will make new connections to collaborate and find opportunities to join forces, avoiding fragmentation in strategies to improve the digital skills gap.
All attendees will receive the first sight of BCS' latest digital skills report.
