Synopsis

It remains clear that Generative AI models such as GPT and LLM are here to stay. Already there has been much talk about regulation and in some cases, some premature calls for the banning of future developments of AI. However, we must be careful not to consider these reactive mitigations and debate further the long term societal and organisational risks that Generative AI presents. And with a robust control framework, could this be technology that is good for society?

The BCS IRMA SG are pleased to debate this with our panel of experts from the BCS assurance and security specialisms. What could be the warning signs or triggers that could highlight risks around Generative AI use and development? And what assurance should we be offering to organisations, government and individuals?

Our events are for adults aged 16 years and over.
