Synopsis

This month we’ll be taking a closer look at the AI Safety Summit’s Bletchley Declaration. Is the global agreement claimed by the PM around AI encouraging? How do the main parties intend to balance AI safety with creating the conditions that allow the UK to be an AI innovator? These questions and more will be investigated.

Joining us will be representatives/members from the main political parties, who will also reflect on the party conferences and the Kings Speech as we enter the run up to the general election.

BCS Policy Jams are one way we engage and communicate with our community on current issues in IT, digital and tech policy and discuss how these issues intersect with the wider world.

Join our CEO Rashik Parmar MBE, tech sector experts and the BCS policy team for a monthly forum where we discuss critical issues for our profession, our economy, our society and our democracy.

Policy Jams are held monthly and previous Jams can be watched here

Our events are for adults aged 16 years and over.
