Synopsis
Operational excellence, as we define it, includes a demonstrated commitment to strategy and purpose, to behaviours aligned to drive that purpose, and to support from tech-enabled operating, management, and organisational systems. Those who truly understand operational excellence think about it as a commitment to action. This session explores the how and why of that commitment to action in order to operate safely at scale.
About the speaker
Paul Moran - Principal Technical Account Manager and Sustainability Ambassador at AWS
Paul has worked for a number of enterprise organisations across the finance sector and in the Cloud industry. He sees his role as that of an enabler and looks to provide the most suitable technology for the problem at hand with a focus around the people involved and their requirements. Technology is a tool for business success, the technology should look after itself after that.
