If you’ve been thinking about applying for Fellowship but don’t know where to start, or perhaps you just want to know how to clearly frame your experience, we’d like to offer you the opportunity to join our programme of webinars to help take you from considering applying, to applying.
If you feel like you are:
- Leading - led on initiatives to change the way IT professionals behave or how IT is developed
- Influencing - you share your knowledge and skills to a growing audience
- Making an impact - are considered a role model to other professionals based on your achievements and “give back” activities
Then you may well be ready for BCS Fellowship.
This introductory webinar will give you a chance to find out more about Fellowship and what it can do for your career.
Join the fellows of the future programme
The programme will consist of three modules – three one-hour interactive webinars spread over three of months – each with a different focus. Use the links below to register for the modules you'd like to attend:
- Module one: What is a BCS Fellow, is it me? | Friday 10 May 2024, 12:00 - 13:00
You'll have the opportunity to explore the three key areas of what makes a Fellow: leadership, impact and influence. - Module two: What criteria should I choose? | Friday 7 June 2024, 12:00 - 13:00
You'll reflect on your experience and how that matches with the different Fellowship criteria. We’ll also look at how to quantify the impact you’ve had. - Module three: Writing a quality application | Friday 12 July 2024, 12:00 - 13:00
We’ll be looking at how to structure your evidence in the STAR format and the difference between evidencing what you’ve done versus the impact you’ve had.
