About the speaker
Professor Sylvester Arnab
Sylvester is a Professor in Game Science (Applied Games) at Coventry University's Centre for Postdigital Cultures, UK. His transdisciplinary research centres on creating engaging and empowering experiences through playful and game-based methods, with a focus on their alignment with pedagogical and motivational theories. As co-founder of the GameChangers initiative, which has made a significant impact on empathic teaching and community engagement across several countries, Sylvester has received multiple awards, including Gold at the QS Reimagine Education 2021. With over £19 million in research funding and more than 100 academic publications, he has significantly contributed to the field, including his book "Game Science in Hybrid Learning Spaces."
