Synopsis
The Annual General Meeting will be followed by a presentation from Computer Arts Society Chair Sean Clark, discussing his latest body of artwork, Computational Constructs.
In this talk to launch an exhibition of his work at BCS Moorgate, he presents the motivations behind his work, and introduces the concept of a “reconstructavist” aesthetic and how he uses systems concepts to inspire how he works.
As well as the 20 prints on display, Sean will present a multi-user mobile phone version of Computational Constructs, together with early experiments in generating sound, not just images, with his generative systems.
The presentation will be followed by a reception and an opportunity to view the exhibition. The event will be recorded and uploaded to the Computer Arts Society YouTube Channel.
