What's Stopping You from Building with AI?
Sumathi Narayanan Menon, Regional Lead at Women Defining AI, shares lessons from the Women Defining AI × UKAI hackathon, where 16 women went from idea to working prototype using Lovable (the in-kind sponsor for the hackathon) in just 8 weeks.
She'll walk through what actually worked: spotting a real problem, shaping an AI solution, and going from idea to working demo. Expect the failures, the surprises, and why "I'm not technical enough" is exactly the lie tech wants you to believe.
You'll see the prototypes. You'll hear what broke. And you'll leave knowing how to start,no coding required.
We are also looking forward to partnering with GWN, The Lavender Group, LezMeet and Lesbians+ in Tech and sponsored by Cyera.
