SYNOPSIS

This webinar will explore the integration of IT Quality Management (ITQM) principles in professional and higher education through the featured project, “Information Systems Modelling & Design Course Delivery and Student Success”, a year 1 apprentices degree course. Central to the discussion is the application of the Work Process Analysis (WPA) framework—a systematic approach for understanding, optimising, and implementing work processes. WPA is structured around five key steps grouped into three phases: Outcomes, Resources, and Processes. These phases guide the identification of current pedagogical practice, pinpoint inefficiencies, and support the design of effective, measurable improvements. The project demonstrates how applying WPA in course delivery can enhance pedagogy effectiveness, streamline academic processes, and ultimately improve student outcomes. Participants will gain insights into how this quality-driven approach promotes a culture of continuous improvement, supports student success, and strengthens leadership in pedagogical practice.
