Synopsis
Come and hear about aspects of the drone world today. This event looks at how regulation manages increasing delegation from pilot to computing system. In aviation, new capability is never just a technical question. The real question is who, or what, is being trusted with control? For drones, that question is becoming more important every year. We are moving from direct pilot control toward increasingly automated and higher-authority systems. That means computing is taking on more of the flying task especially end to end data capture and transportation, while regulation has to decide how that shift can happen without losing safety, oversight or accountability.
