About the speaker
Sarah Burnett is an author and award-winning technology industry analyst specializing in AI for business process automation. She advises organizations on AI adoption and technology vendors on product strategy. Her book, AI in Business – Towards the Autonomous Enterprise, published by BCS, is widely recognized for its practical insights into AI-driven transformation. The second edition, released in December 2024, received strong acclaim for its forward-looking perspective on the evolution of autonomous enterprises.
A strong advocate for women in technology, Sarah chaired BCSWomen for several years. Her voluntary contributions also include advising the Open University’s School of Computing and supporting digital innovation initiatives in the arts.
Sarah is a sought-after international speaker who in 2021 was inducted into Computer Weekly’s Hall of Fame of influential women in technology.
