Synopsis
Join us for an inspiring session exploring why Artificial Intelligence sits at the heart of both BCS’s mission and the future of women in tech. As AI reshapes society—from healthcare to public services—BCS emphasises the urgent need for systems that are ethical, trustworthy, and built by teams that truly reflect the diversity of the UK.
With women representing just 22% of the tech workforce, their perspectives remain critically underrepresented in designing the AI systems that will influence everything from careers to daily life. This event brings these issues to the forefront, highlighting how inclusive AI development can reduce bias, spark innovation, and drive national competitiveness.
Whether you’re a technologist, leader, educator, or advocate, this session will illuminate why women must be at the centre of the UK’s AI future—and how increasing representation is essential for building fair, responsible, and future‑ready technologies.
