Synopsis

IPMA Certification: Building Project Excellence Through Competence In an increasingly complex and fast-changing world, project success depends on more than processes and methodologies - it depends on people.

Join project management expert Paul Bradley for an engaging introduction to the International Project Management Association (IPMA), one of the world's leading competence-based certification frameworks. This session will explore the benefits of IPMA certification for project professionals, programme managers, portfolio leaders, and aspiring practitioners. Attendees will gain an overview of the IPMA Four-Level Certification System and discover how the internationally recognised Individual Competence Baseline (ICB4) assesses capability across project, programme and portfolio management competencies.

The presentation will examine the three competence domains - People, Practice and Perspective and explain how they contribute to improved project performance, career progression, professional credibility, and organisational success. Whether you are new to project management or an experienced practitioner seeking international recognition, this session will provide valuable insights into developing and demonstrating professional competence in today's project-driven world.
