Synopsis
The PRINCE2 portfolio continues to develop as an integrated approach to managing change at every level, from projects that deliver outputs, to programmes that enable transformation, to portfolios that align investment with strategy. Complemented by dedicated guidance in risk and PMO management, it provides a connected governance system spanning strategic intent through to operational delivery.
This session will provide an overview of the PRINCE2 portfolio and its courses, exploring how the suite fits together and how it supports organisations facing increasing complexity, hybrid delivery models and the need for greater enterprise-wide coherence.
Organisational transformation rarely follows a single delivery method. Within the same programme, some projects may need the structure of waterfall, others the adaptability of agile, and many a hybrid approach.
The challenge for programme leaders is creating alignment and maintaining control while enabling teams to work in the way that best suits their context and objectives. This session explores how programme managers can work with project leaders to select the most appropriate delivery approach, and how to foster effective collaboration when different methods coexist.
Drawing on principles from PRINCE2® Programme Management, it will highlight practical ways to maintain strategic oversight, manage interdependencies and benefits, and ensure coherence across diverse delivery models.
In a world of constant change, successful programme leadership is about enabling fit-for-purpose delivery while keeping the whole transformation firmly on track.
